Ice conditions on Burnstick

Anyone been on recently? How's the ice? I know Tay and Phyllis are good, but haven't been to Burnstick in a while.

I was out there alittle over week ago and ice conditions were good with close to 2 feet

Appreciate it, thanks. Might be a little more treacherous after I leave, I have a new auger to try for the first time, and am dying to turn the lake into Swiss cheese!

Was out there today. Ice is good, I would guess a solid 24" or so.

Fishing was slower, a millions smaller perch strikes, but couldn't keep them hooked on 1/32 ounce jigs with a worm.

Anyone know the trick to hooking perch in this lake? Seems like everything is too small to get hooked.

Smaller hook. Lol. Waste of timr going there.
