Sadly, I just found out today that Mr. Ken Belcourt passed away suddenly from heart disease and his funeral had been held today.
Ken operated KEN BELCOURT FURS in Edmonton for many many years.
He'd done many fur transactions for me over the years and I appreciated his fairness every time.
He will sadly be missed by me and many other people that I know.
We've lost a great individual in the FUR TRAPPER BUSINESS

I don't remember him much but I remember taking furs to his store when I was about 10 years old. That was over 20 years ago. Too bad to lose one of the old timers

I remember him coming to High Level 25 + years ago and I had a bunch of NWT marten. His price was too low so I told him I was taking them back to the NWT to ship. He ended up buying them after we danced about for a bit. My only experience with him.
