upper & lower lake in k country

what the best lake to fish & what is used as bait & or lures.going up there on Friday is there a boat or engine restriction on ether lake.

There is a bait ban on both lakes, so you'll have to use lures or flies. There isn't a restriction on boats / motors, but I'm not sure that the ice will be completely off either lake yet.

Also, part of the Lower Lake is closed year round to angling. You should pick up a set of the regs to avoid getting in trouble with the fish cops. They are up there frequently.
