Ice at Newell?

Hi

anyone been at Newell last few days? i wonder whats ice like there...any flood water? im sure its thick enough to drive on...im a bit concerned about flood water with all the warm temps lately..thinking of going tmmrw Saturday...

I was wondering the same thing. I perfer driving on, but was interested in whether anyone has been out there in the last day. Any info is appreciated,

No flood water on Newell. There might be some small spots with water where the last remaining drifts melted today. Over 24" of ice.

Still lots of ice. Surface is starting to melt a bit but solid. shacks are starting to move off of the ice but there are a few out there. I pulled mine off yesterday.
