Hey Everyone,

9 of us did our annual trip to Joussard last weekend. Fishing was ok, a bit slow, but steady enough that we didn't go hungry. The road was in excellent condition, we didn't really need the sleds.

I've attached a few pictures. We caught pickerel in the 2 - 3.5 pound range, and lots of smaller jack. A couple of decent burbot as well at night.

Pickerel ? Them look like walleye to me .great pictures thanks for sharing .

Pickerel ? Them look like walleye to me .great pictures thanks for sharing .

Pickerel? that's what we called them in manitoba and ontario... same thing as walleye.

Actually pickerel and walleye are completely different.

No we were fishing in Roadrunner's shacks and would head back late to the cabins on shore. We would've just added a couple of cots, but there were 9 of us spread over two 6 hole shacks, would've been to tight. Next time I'll rent from Larsens.

Beauty ! I'm heading out Wednesday for a few nights. My friend has a shack we will be staying in over night till Saturday . Hopefully we get some luck too

Nice fish looks like you had some great fun fishing on Slave lake.
