Bought my Alberta fishing licence today, good to March 31/14.

Actually, now that I look at my 2012-13 licence, under the signature line it says "Licence not valid until signed", so that would indicate once you have the licence in your possession and it is signed, its valid. I just assumed they weren't valid until Apr 1. You know what they say about assuming..... My bad.

So if you purchase a license Jan1 2013 you are gtg until March 31 2014? Or is there a different cutoff? I always buy mine April 1.

I just looked on the RELM website and it said license valid from March 15 2012 to April 1 2014 ... So I guess that means you can have one longer than 1 year...
