Hey all

Heading to PCR friday afternoon for some burbs....Anyone interested in meeting out there...Plan on going around 3 or 4 to set up before dark and go for some walleye...

i've never done night fishing before, what do u bring to prepare for night fishing? just lanterns and heater ect?

how do u stay warm and see at night?

Depending on ice thickness you drive on...Set up tent with or without heater, head lamp or lantern...Whatever you prefer...Set up tip ups or rods with glow sticks.....Done:)

Is in a different region than most of the other lakes in this area and is good till the end of the month.

Pine Coulee Reservoir
Walleye limit 0; Pike limit 3 (no size limit); Bait allowed.
May 15 to Nov. 30 - open only between sunrise and sunset each day.
Dec. 1 to Mar. 31 - open 24 hours a day.
Apr. 1 to May 14 – CLOSED

I still cannot believe that PCR has a limit of 10 burbot....Almost every body of water north of Calagary has limited to 3 burbs and closed basically for spawning...for 2 months...

This will probably change soon. Even two years ago it was super easy to catch burbot in there at night through the ice. You could limit out in a few hours. Now you can get skunked. The pressure needs to come off of them.
