Hey everybody, just wondering if anybody could give me some advice on shorefishing the Shuswap at the places Murdoch Point and Canoe if you could? I will be shore fishing and do not have my fly rod. Appreciate all info.

Thanks

There's a red dock in Canoe, Follow the canoe turnoff from hwy 1 all the way cross the train tracks, down to the beach. That's where the dock is.

Around the main pier in Salmon Arm is an abundance of big carp, they are a ton of fun to catch.

There's always squaw fish to catch when nothing else is biting.

You'll have fun, Shushwap mornings spent fishing are always delightful.

I'm assuming you don't have a boat. Murdoch point is a bit of a walk, but see guys fishing from their all the time. Anything east of Murdoch is closed to fishing til May 15.
