best day ever at wab!

so yee haw and i met geezle at wab. dock this morning. decided to head straight south to far shore. about 3/4 way there we kept bogging down and and couldun't get chains on properly. back to dock for new plan. i said fallis, yee haw said east (kapasiwn) and geezle said he's game for anything. we went east. found access and set up. first hour and 1/2 nothing, but geezle had a new toy (coleman stove/burner) and it was fresh grilled hambergers, smokies and fresh coffee all day. got my first hit and pulled in my biggest pike ever! 38" and almost 13 lbs. another boring spell so i started dropping all kinds of junk down the holes and wham.my first whitefish ever on a rapala! then i iced a 39" not as heavy as first. caught a couple more pike and the boys were starting to talk about horse shoes untill they started to get the hits. night was falling when big mama rang my bell. took a long time and a lot of runs to get her massive head in position but with some help from my friends i iced this 45" 17lbs beauty.(maybe 16 3/4 but who cares)

Wab was good for me yesterday to finally. 10 fish landed equalling 80 pounds with a nice fat 14 pounder in there too. Great way to finish the year. Now for the river to thaw and get the jetboat ready

I have to agree on the best day on Wab! in a while...
we fished Riches Point, caught 3 pike in 20 min, Perch Everywhere, and hooked a white. Oh and another Pike. Big day. Only Fished till noon. Plus whatever else we seen!
