Navionics chip question

Does anyone know if these chips are manufacturer specific?
i.e. will a chip that came bundled with a Lowrance unit work in a Humminbird one?

They are 100% compatible with both units ..... no worries there.

The only thing is some features work differently in different fish finders but those features are specific to the model's features. Example 3d maps won't work on a unit without 3d capability etc.....

The card, however, will work up to the capabilities of each unit/model/manufacturer.
