Spray Lakes ice conditions

I am going on Sunday to the sparrowhawk area and need to know if the ice is still safe to walk on, and how thick it is

ice is good to go. Friends of my Dad went yesterday near the campground westerly, caught 4 lake trout then moved onto 10 fow and caught 3 rmw. The guys are in their 80's so take that as either a caution or an ok.
