I don't recommend skinny-dipping in Rainy River.
Hit on a 10 lb Northern! Check this Northern out!! Caught on Rainy river. He caught the 10 pounder and while fighting it, this monster attacked the 10lber and wouldn't let go! Amazing

I saw that picture several months ago and it said it was from some lake in Ontario. Would Rainy River be the actual story behind it? Other thing is the fish seems bigger every time i see it, doesn't appear doctored though. Absolutely huge.

The top pic is correct (from the story posted previous) but the bottom has been around for ever, they dont go together.

nice pics tuc. i was on a ontario forum and seen that top pic and some guy claimed it was caught out of lake of the woods on a jig and minnow, lol funny how things get twisted, i dont care, just enjoy looking at big fish:)

I forget where the bottom pic is really from, but the top one isn't even from North America. It was caught in Norway (or near there).

Nope this isnt the same one. Acctually a retired woman from Winfeld AB caught it. She is a memeber of the Millet F&G.
I will try to get some pictures.

I would say that pike goes well over 45lbs!

There is so many stories about this fish. Its in The Next Bite Esox Angler magazine and its confirmed it was caught in Holland.
