Stergeon Lake (GP Area)

Hi just wondering if anyone has fished Sturgeon lake up by GP as of late? If so a report would be nice feel free to PM of desired. Thanks

I never fished it this year, I live an hour or so north of GP and it is the only lake of decent size with walleye, pike and perch in it in the area, on this side of the BC/AB border, so it is frequented quiet a bit. From what I've gathered from locals the fishing is decent, with good potential for getting a feed of walleye or pike out of. As for where to go on the lake, I have no idea but a bathyrmetric map and some observation of other fisherman will give you an idea.

Was out yesterday off of youngs point. ice still 2ft thick. had some luck with the walleye.
