Temperature is hovering around zero here in Calgary. 30-60kmh north wind & snow flurries make it feel much colder. Figured I'd sit here & post up some pics, since it's been a while.

I tried using it this year and never caught anything on it. One time I had a nibble on it but it wasn't enough to set the mechanism off. Just curious how it works on the smaller fish.

haha thats true! probably just not on ice anymore :P, cool thanks, i'll have to play with it some more next season and try to get it figured out better! As for now though, it's open water time!

Yeah I know you can bend the trigger arm to adjust the sensitivity, only problem I had was the rod wouldn't stay. So I had to adjust it back. Tried it out at spray a couple times, once I was watching it and I could see the line moving but wasn't enough to set it off....
I figured it probably wouldn't work great for perch, but i'll have to mess around with it more next year!
