i know there was another thread about some one having trouble on the bow, and i am about to ask the same question but what can i do? just looking for some advise. i am new to fishing the bow but thought i would have luck by now i am in cochrane and west of town using panther martins and raplas. i tryed a CD5 brown trout. any advise tossed my way would be appreciated.

and on a side not is any fellow members are out west of cochrane and looking for a fishing partner let me know.

any rapala that looks like a rainbow or brown trout will do good. pay attention to the light levels, cloudy/sunny. might wanna go in shallow banks on cloudy days or sunrise sunset. look for still water off of turns on the river. keep moving, if you catch a fish it likely spooked any around. explore and try new things. dont be afraid to try trusted spoons or flys on a bobber.

my 2 cents

Len Thompson black and yellow 5 of diamonds. The spoon size was about 1-1.5 " long. I watched this kid about 20 years ago do really well just downstream from the weir at memorial. He was catching Browns and Rainbows, many of them.
