I believe it depends on your pontoon, I bought two colorado XT's and they can take up to a 40 LB Thrust. i have a 38 LB one I am using for the one, and unsure about the other one just yet.

minn kota 36 lb should do for 8 or 10ft pontoon.

nice dalray! you picked out some nice boats there, I should be seeing you on some lakes this year!

I've been using a minnkota 30lb thrust on mine for 4 years now but I have an 8ft pontoon and Im all of 5 ft tall. I scoot around fine but Id probably get one closer to 40lb if I got another one. 30-40 lb and you'll be good to go.

I use the 55lb digital on my pontoon and have no issues. little weight difference between the 30lb and the 55lb and you will be using the same battery on both. I always want to have more power then I need.

If you can take it back & exchange it for a Traxxis 40lb you will get 3-4 times battery life/use out of your fishing time..those ENDURA are garbage..IMO

The endura max has the digital maximizer so the battery will last just as long as it would with the traxxis. I bought a traxxis and I didn't like it. I took it back and traded it in for an Endura Max.
