That is sweet.

Nice action shot.

You could probably rescue 3 or 4 bikinis with that too...

What are the cut-outs for?

What are the cut-outs for?

One of the bottom cut-outs are where the boat valve is and the other is a "secret" compartment that fits a six pack of coca-cola classic (keeps it cool too)!!. The top cut-out are for a battery for a motor and the three little cut-out in a circle fits a wooden stool perfectly for the looooong hauls.

Thx for the interest and positive feedback,..

I am impressed !! way to use your creativity instead of just forking out hundreds or thousands to do your one man drift.

Love it! I have an inflatable boat too so I can just imagine how much nicer it is having that in there.

That is stellar! You sir are a fine judge of whiskey women and inflatable boat accesories. Is that just laminated foam from the hardware store? The "floorboards" are made from what?

Extremely well done my brother :acigar::cheers:

Yes sir,
I found them in a dumpster in my community back when they used to use that foam to insulate walls. Glued two 2" pieces together and then glued a piece of thin masonite on the top. I was going to finish it with some astro- turf on the top as well but that stuff is EXPENSIVE!!,.lol

This is an inflatable I have been interested in for sometime now it has a solid floor and set up for an electric motor. Full weight is around 40 lbs.

Just curious but where did you purchase the boat, I've been looking for a nice coleman inflatable like this for a while.

But since I don't know of any official Red Green Awards I will start a new thread for nomination for an 'unofficial' Red Green Award.

Well Done!

very good idea. having a rigid floor makes all the difference. nice little set-up. can also get into any small pothole lakes.

I've done the same with an Intex Seahawk you can buy at Walmart - we used 1/2 inch or 3/4 (i forget) ply wood cut to shape then wrapped it in indoor/outdoor carpet. I also cut my floor board in half so it was easier to transport and lift etc.
I bought a 30lbs trolling motor but I would go stronger if I had to do it again.
The heaviest part of the operation is the deep cycle batt I use.

I could picture these being for sale in stores. They would be so helpful. I'd buy one for sure for my boat.
