Fighting lake near acme

Hey everyone has anyone heard anything about fishing at this lake? Has anyone been there recently? Is it a lake you can fish from shore or do you need a boat? Any information would be greatly appreciated thanks

Do you mean Fyten reservoir Close to Swalwell? You can fish from shore or use a boat (electric motor only). Small well kept campground there.

is this the little campgroung run by the lions off rr271, and has the windmill at the corner of the lake..

Does any one know if the ice is off of Fyten yet?

Lake is about 2K south west of swalwell. Lions Club runs it. Ice is usually off this time of year but this year who knows.

The area is day use only now no overnight camping. It is run by the county.

I used to go there a lot ( I'm from threehills) usually pretty good fishing from shore on the west side. Its definitely run by kneehill county.
