Spent all day sunday at chain lake, lots of small bows put a few 12 inchers on the chain for a change. I'm not much of a trout eater but I have to bring the wife fish once in a while or I'm sure she wonders if we really go fishing. Great day and I got a sunburn to proof it. Watched two young mullie bucks on the shore jumping and spinning and knocking heads in fun, rehearsing for a few months from now. Lots of bald eagles too great place to take the kidlets they can swim and frolic in the water to beat the heat. Oh so many lakes and not enough weekends!

there are at least 2 chain lakes in alberta.
there is one in the longveiw area
the other one by lacombe is due east of the wolf creek golf course.
it has three parts, the furthest north lake is called Berdine lake, the middle lake is chain lake, and the third or southerly water is magee lake
