Looking for some input on which type of anchor to buy.
I have Lund Tyee 1750 for which my current 10lb anchor does not hold (worked ok with my last smaller boat), thx in advance.

recommendation I heard was 1 lb/ft of boat and 3 times the depth you fish in for rope....

Like Hal said. Using too short of a rope is the most common problem for an anchor not holding. I use the "fluke" style.
PA has 28lbs for $30 on sale right now.

I believe the proper ratio is 5 to 1. 20 fow 100 ft of rope. I have 20 lb fluke for my 27 ft and have never come free, even sleeping overnight in some good wind
