Hi guys, I moved to Edmonton 3 1/2 years ago and heard that people catch sturgeon in the NSR. So i have been trying for the past 3 years to catch one of those ancient fish but no luck. I have been all over Edmonton north and south trying to catch one of these suckers. Could some of you guys give me a tip where exactly to catch them much appreciated.

Using a pike rig with worms. This was my first sturgeon and it gave me quite the fight! I've been looking for a "sturgeon hole" since then to catch a bigger one. No luck and everyone ive asked that are in the know wont give me better directions than "near lloyd, or out by drayton". Theres what i know.....wish you the best of luck.

I think you just did the best thing you could do to catch a sturgeon. I think this is your year!
