As the title says, is anyone else headed up to Kakisa for the long weekend? I hear that the grayling fishing right now is fantastic.

We will be there, sites B1 and B2. White F-350 flatdeck with a white lund and white fifth wheel. If a forum member is there, swing by for a visit.

Have you ever been up there before?? The lady Evelyn falls campground is right on the falls and is beautiful. Be careful on the climb down to the bottom of the falls though. Short climb but very steep and with slick spots (10-15' section of cliff to climb down on a rope). There are also other places to get to the river just not as pretty. Also good fishing off the ice bridge at fort providence and kakisa lake is nice too. Pike walleye and whitefish as well as grayling.

I have a mounted 23" grayling that I caught about 200 yds from the falls. Great place to fish, but watch your gear, because the villagers seem to think that they are entitled to it!!!
