Bike seats, who uses them?

I'm picking up my new ProV at the end of the month and I'm wondering if the bike seats are worth the 300+? I've seen them for sale on here and on WC before and am wondering if it's something that doesn't get used that often.

I have one in my Ranger in the bow. Use it all the time. I would rather stand than sit, so it provides comfort. Don't feel the bumps like sitting.
