No, it is not ice free. I spent the long weekend up there. Is there open water? Yes. Is the lake ice free? Far from it.

The municipal launch at the river is still closed. The river was packed with ice Sunday but was a little bit better monday. As of yesterday, everything past Dog Island is still full of ice. Hopefully it will be gone by next weekend.

Looks to be ice free now on the east end. Sorry can't give a fish update as I have not been out yet and haven't heard any reports yet...

Going weekend of 21st, this my best choice for campgrounds at lake? Looks nice enough but have never been, any info would be appreciated...
