I have an old 91 invader ski/fishing boat that needs some serious restoration, the leather is all waterlogged and cracked up from sitting outdoors for so many years with no cover, all the chrome is tanished and old looking . The fiberglass is dull and needs a good polish. Are any of these things a DIY job? I'm thinking of trying to figure out how to polish the gelcoat in the outside myself, for interior I might have to find a professional.

What used to look like this 73095
now looks like a piece of turd

Does anyone have any tips/tricks or any recommendations on how to restore my new baby.:sHa_shakeshout:

for the upholstery if you are crafty and good with a sewing machine, marine grade vinyl is relatively inexpensive and you can recover your own seats. There are some good restoration polishes out there, buy a good buffing wheel and you can get the gel coat looking good again.
