I don't post alot but thought I'd share some photos of my trips out so far this spring. The first lake for me is always Police Lake and then gave Heningers a try a couple times. Both lakes produced some nice, fat rainbows. Females were dropping eggs all over.

Sacrificed a couple from Heningers that had bellies full of chronomids, sorry to those who are squeamish.

Heard so much about Bullshead, had to go out there and try it for the first time. Storm blew in over the hill and was on top of me in about 5 minutes. Had to pack up early but was able to fool a bunch of fatties.

Casting from shore with my usual two-fly setup, bh leech and a chronie under an indicator. Can shoot a good distance on the roll cast with the right wind behind.

Lots of minnows swimming the shores at Bullshead.

Tried a couple days at Chin on May long. Lots of little walleye, a few good solid 18"ers and a couple barely legal ones sent back for the tournament guys. Hopefully someone was able to find them again.

A few pike, I think this guy was blind, cloudy right eye and really skinny with a big head. Oh no!, my thumb is touching his gills...

Do you find that Henninger winter kills some years?

I've heard that but I don't think it is ever a full winter kill. I don't fish there a lot but we always seem to get some nice fish there even after hearing rumours of it being dead.
