Going to Talbot tomorrow

My wife is running in that Banff/Jasper relay race tomorrow at 4pm which means I have about 3 hours to kill. Gonna try out Talbot, shore fishing for some Pike. Has anybody been there lately? Any particular side that is better than the other?

I have not fish there for a while i use to fish by the dunes wadding all sand bottom out quite a ways. Or the reeds by the boat launch. like using a rebel buzz frog

3 guys were chucking spoons the other day and got 5 Pike on west side by the steep bank right by road but then I sent them back east to the first pull off the told them to fish east along shore..

in a boat west side friends caught 22 Pike from boat 2 to 3 1/2 #

Lake Whites in there too if you see rise's then they are feeding/hunting
