Head over to the beaver dam on SE side either bottom bounce or anchor in the middle between the island and beaver dam. Was up 2 weekends ago and did very well...never even had leaches as we could not find any just used minnows and worms. Goodluck

if you live near there, or want to learn lots fast about where the fish are at pinehurst head out this weekend and watch the tournament anglers fish the lake, fish should still be shallow as we havent exactly been hammered with hot weather and the water should still be cold, etc.

Given the late spring and ice off you are probably fishing to deep. Go shallower. I would also try and find rocky area's. I was out at another lake a couple of weeks ago and was catching most of mine in 4-7 feet.

Good luck, let us know how you make out.

Try the main lake points, move around the points slowly while casting crankbaits into shore. Shallower running ones like shad raps will catch you some fish!
