lol...not trying to get into a p!ssing contest. I have a 2012 Dream Season, and it's very quiet. I have shot the 2013 DNA, and stood beside peeps at the archery club shooting the DNA. Very quiet bow. My 2010 Bow Madness was very loud that it needed string leeches, which also slowed my fps a bit. Most peeps will tell you the Bow Madness is a very quiet bow...so....just saying.

Wow! That is a true kinetic monster! It is really more like 99 ft/lb! Both of my Destroyer 350's at a true 28" draw length can "only" make 80 ft/lbs. that's 380 grains at 309 fps at 66 # draw weight.

That's nothing! Thrude1 has a pse DNA at 28" and 65# that shoots a 450 grain arrow at 315. That is 99 ft/lbs or so at a full 6# less draw weight and 2" less draw length. If you do the math, his bow is making 106 or 107 ft/lbs at 30" and should ibo around 375 fps! Now that is amazing! I think it may have a 6" brace height to boot!

My other bow is a HCA speed pro it is able to shoot arrows below the IBO standard of 5 gr /lb and can actually go as low as 3gr /lb......so it will technically be able able to shoot a 210gr arrow at 70lbs of draw....but it's hard to find an arrow specifically spined for that, so they make their own arrows designed for it :)

I have a 310gr arrow going 345fps at 70lbs and 28 inch draw, but it isn't 3d tourney legal....just for fun :)

Ya. I went from browning to pse to bowtech to high country for a season and then back to bowtech. They really do make a quality product. I can't see going away from them. If I did it might be for a hoyt. Then I'd likely end up just buying another bowtech though:)

I currently have 2 Destroyer 350's, both 70 lbs limbs. One black and one camo. My black one is marginally more accurate than Leftycanucks. Lol. I guess we'll have to see next weekend though!:) However, neither of our 350's compare to Wctbowtech's invasion! That thing is amazing!

Have only ever owned 2 different bows. An old PSE Nova years ago.
When I went to upgrade I shot about 6 new PSE, 4 new Mathews, 4 Bowtechs and I decided on the Bowtech Invasion. It felt solid in my hand, draw cycle was very manageable with good backwall. I really like the way it shoots. No vibration, quite, and fast. For a speed bow I found it very forgiving and a breeze to shoot.

I actually stopped in Biggar yesterday at the APA factory on my way from Unity to Saskatoon.

The owner took me through the shop and showed me the CNC machines and their process....was pretty cool.

I got to see a new paint finish they are coming out with next year.

He did not know me from Adam and took the time to show me around and chat a bit....nice guy. If you want to support local Canadian product I don't think you can go wrong taking a look at APA.

In speed don't you give up some accuracy?

:D That was a common rule with old school bows...for a couple reasons...first the faster the bow the lower the Brace Height [BH] and not everyone can shoot a short brace height bow...although the bow of today is 100% more forgiving...

I still dont shoot short BH bows because I tend to hit heavy clothing even thou string stops have almost eliminated that.

Another reason was back in the day most didnt have the knowledge or access to proper spinded arrows and broadheads...

With modern technology we can now shoot a 9" BH bow that is way faster than the old school 5" BH smokin fast bows...

The APA M6 has a 6" BH which was huge back in the day...

Most smokin fast bows are duel cam ...hard to tune in the day and very hard to draw then..I remember one bow I shot had 30% let off

So that rule is not true today...there are some that cant shoot duel cam , short BH, smokin fast bows ...but that is mostly due to tune....both bow and shooter.

I have seen Bowtech prevail time and time again in the last few years from my experience and aquantences that shoot them. I have friends that can shoot just as well, but they aren't shooting the same equipment.

I am looking long and hard at the bowtech insanity cpx and the bowtech assasin, the one thing that I keep hearing about the bowtech insanity cpx is the vibration and that would be a turn off for me, I have heard nothing bad about the bowtech assasin

Well I just picked up a Prime Defy. I don't know if its the best bow out there but so far it is super quiet, accurate, has an amazing back wall & no hand shock. The only "down side" that I can notice is the valley is not as large as on my previous bows. So far I'm really happy with it. :sHa_shakeshout:

Unless you are a pro shooter or shoot hundreds of arrows a day, I doubt that the "vibration" that people talk about would amount to a hill of beans to the average shooter. Most of today's bows are very dead in the hand and a pleasure to shoot. Keep in mind that the higher the speed rating of the bow the more energetic it will be in your hand after the shot. There are no free rides, but some are smoother than others.
