one of the guides on my favorite fishing rod has lost the inner "liner" or "ring". is there someone in edm. who repairs fishing rods. i was told maybe the reel doctor but don't know how to get hold of him. thanks.

Take it to a fly shop or a rod builder, might take a while for them to get the eye but they can fix it up.

actually just got my custom rod tip repaired yesterday, $10 and done in an hour. Reel Doctor in Edmonton, awesome to deal with!! in the phone book and have website I believe

Say your sorry to the wife, that it cannot be fixed and use that as an excuse to buy a new one.

Bet its a fuji guide, they and their tips suck. Most of the fishing stores carry replacements just redid one on my tiger spinning rod.

Fuji makes different quality guides, the cheap rods have cheaper guides as well.
