Had an awesome weekend fishing; caught lots and quite a few good ones. This was my biggest; didn't weigh; took a few quick pics & let her go back in the water. We were thinking it was around that 8lb range. Despite the weather; we had a good weekend.

Thanks for letting her go. Most wouldn't (?). That's good genes left in the pool. Why does anyone need more than a picture of such a beaut?

All you gotta do is measure the length ,there is a formula ,
On the web that is pretty accurate . I think I recognize that shoreline .

I would say that pig is heavier than eight.

Well, he is holding it out about 2ft. away from his body, but that thing is still at least 6-lbs. A very nice walleye, just the same. Congratulations!

Nice one, how long ? If it was over 70cm it would be over 8lbs for sure. Looks nice and fat.

We did put it on the measuring board & it was just shy of 28". Regardless of the pounds it was one of the biggest ones I have caught in a long, long time & enjoyed every second of it!

My dad caught one roughly 27 3/8" about a month back, came in at just a touch over 6.5 pounds. Either way, 6 pounds, 7 pounds, 8 pounds kind of splitting hairs still a nice fish and it's out there to put on more weight for the next person.

True that NOVA :) In the excitement of it all; it felt like 8lb, maybe it wasn't.....haha!! Guess I better start carrying a scale!!!!
