Namur Lake Lodge Huge Pike

Well I got to go on my fly-in fishing trip for being the Alberta Angler of the Year for 2012. It was sponsored by Namur Lake Lodge. What a great lodge. They have all the amenities and service that you want. Hot showers, cozy log cabins and amazing personal service. Every time we came off the lake they made sure our gas was full so we could head out again with ease. The main lodge was a great place to gather with other guests and the owners, Bev and Cornell, who had awesome stories from times gone by. Caught some great fish, pike and lake trout. Highly recommend going there. Thought I'd share a pic of the big pike I caught up there...

Nice dark color on that Pike - what a beauty - I find allot of northern (and shallow dwelling) monster to be quite dark in color.
