Son in law, daughter and grandkids recently moved to Wetaskiwin , 3hr drive ain't so bad.

anyways, where can I take these kids fishing when we visit? Grandkids pretty young but I believe in start em young. Open to any fishing were gkids can catch fish. I dont care if its a little slough catching trout from shore or bring down my 22' oceanpro and fish bigger water. Not looking at catching "keepers" just some quality time with the little ones.

I grew up fishing and my grandkids will do the same so help me God:)
I cant wait till they join me fishing on some of our fishing trips, from Cold lake to Kootenay, the Fraser near mission to Prince Rupert. So many places so little time

Or if you want to boat fish, Pigeon is pretty close to the west.

By the lake park in pretty good for catch stocked trout and coal lake spill way about 15 minutes west will land you some pike from shore or you can always take the boat there too!

Thx for the replies.

I assume there are many places to launch a boat, which is the better boat launch for heavier boat
