I got my 102/118 speed goat draw. The last time I hunted them was in 1984, I shot one about 1/2 mile from the house 10 mins into the season. He scored 75 and change. So I'm hoping to do the same this time. I have a couple eyed up I figure they'll go high 70's.

Congrats to those who have drawn antelope tags. They are a ton of fun to hunt, especially with a bow. I 999 them all this year, so no surprises for me.

This works good for me I hunt Non trophy this year and am a priority 9 for next year giving me the go with the Bow:D Just great that means 2010 will be a 6 for my son and 7 for me I should hunt speedsters 3 years running that will be a first! for now I am just as excited about my son having the non-trophy tag as anything.

Yahoo!!! Me and my pops will be hunting antelope down in 102/ 118 this fall. Neither of us have ever hunted them or drawn a tag so it should be a blast. One of those hunts i've been dreaming of for many many years. I'm pumped, too bad i have to work the weekends this time of year or i'd be trying to get down there for a look around.

My son was drawn for Non trophy Antelope 821. He is going to uni in Calgary and may only be able to steal away the Fri. and Sat. I am supposed to be busy with lake trout on the Thurs.

For a lot of years I took eather Daughter or Son on antelope hunts with me. Now I get to go with them. We are both looking forward to a fall camping trip on the prairie. Hunting non-trophy is good pronghorn hunting practice. What one learns there can be valuable when after a trophy buck another time.
