Hey guys im not sure if im the only one on here shooting the general or bow tech split limb design for that matter but all generals have been recalled due to limb failure. If you are shooting a a general have it checked out before you shoot again

check it out as it could possibly end up with personal injury

what type of limb does Bowtech use? Laminate or mold? I shoot something else with laminated limbs so was just curious.

Thats terrible that this is out not so close to the season...now have to find time to make a trip to CGY just to get the bow checked out at Jim Bows

i talked to the guys in sherwood park and even tho it says not im going to shoot mine till they get there new limbs in, im not going to let it ruin my season and hopes of my first archery deer hunt. if it blows up then it blows up but less than 1% of ALL the generals from their production run have had problems so i guess we will see what happens, as soon as the guys in sherwood park have limbs in mine will get changed out but i dont have the time to wait 3 weeks without shooting then completely re tune the bow as the limbs are going to have a different profile and will perform different at longer ranges
