pine coulee/ willow creek report

fished pine coulee for a couple hours from shore yesterday and caught about 30+ eye. then i decided to got give willow creek a try for some possible pike. the fishing was not a good as i expected it to be from wat i have heard from the locals but i did manage 2 decent pike in about 45 min. does anyone know if the water in that creek is always murkey or does it eventually clear.

It does clear up most years, its been a wet year in that area and its pretty muddy. The fishing pressure was hard on Willow Creek last weekend so that may be why you didn't get too many pike. I gave it a bit of time and got a bunch of pike and finally a brown last week. Probably saw 10 anglers but no one else had caught anything.
