so i popped down to check out the nsr at the herm. outfall and as i posted this morning it was no big deal at 11:00 pm last night. today at 4:00 pm it had risen about 8-10 feet and still rising. took pics. first 2 are today and last in early spring when river was low.difference from low water to now about 12-14 feet. i won't bother with the nsr for a couple weeks so its lake fishing starting tomorrow. enormous amount of very large trees floating down the river.

Here is the link for flow rate of the nsr. Reading taken at 10:00 am this morning.
http://environment.alberta.ca/apps/basins/DisplayData.aspx?Type=Table&BasinID=4&DataType=1&StationID=RNSASEDM
The water level is at 9.39 meters and flow rate of 2860.3 cubic meters per second. That converts to 755,611.32 us gallons per second.

Good boating is 2.5 to 4 meter
at 3 to 4 I can pretty well go anywhere I want with my 9.8 prop...
