Battle river fishing

Anyone been fishing the battle river recently with all the flooding to the south has it affected the battle river? Was excellent a few weeks ago. We have had a good amount of rain as well I imagine it is getting murky.

Fished it and caught a couple small pike that was all

i have always been tempted to stop along hwy2 and throw a line in.

Anybody ever actually caught a legal sized walleye out of the river? Went past it quite a few times but didn't think it would even be worth it to throw a line in.
