You guys have any idea of what this pike weighs, I only have a length but not a girth measurement, he is 47 inches long and extremely thick. The guy in the picture is 6 foot 4 and 240 pounds.http://i1338.photobucket.com/albums/o687/crownb2/null_zps94ce59cc.jpg

My brother in law and I both figure he is right at the thirty pound mark, maybe even just over, this fish had huge shoulders, I really wish we had a girth measurement. We pulled a few 20 pounders out of there last winter and this fish definatly dawrfed them.:sHa_shakeshout:

Caught a big girl in that same spot...... there definitely seem to be a few really big girls in there preying on all the small hammer handles common to that area of the lake.

I'd say she is at least 25 maybe up to, or just under 30.

Buety fish - one of the bigger ones I've seen come out of there with a lure instead of dead bait.

Looks to be around 27 or 28 lbs. Pretty tough to say for sure without seeing it in person but it doesn't quite look to be a 30 lber. It's definitely a BIG fish and it may actually be over 30 but judging from the ones I've caught that are 48 they are usually just shy of 30lb. Either way, who really cares? That is a MONSTER fish whether it is 26lbs or 36 lbs and a fish of a lifetime for sure. :)

Congrats on landing a lunker and thanks for sharing it with the rest of us. :)

Here is a picture of a monster pike I caught on Sunday with my dad (yoteblaster) and younger brother. We caught lots of hammer handles and then this one, the biggest I've ever caught in my life! I'm 15 years old, and my family does a lot of fishing. We didn't weigh or measure it because we wanted to get her back in the water quick.

Any guesses for weight?

Yeah I know it just like fat guy in a little coat, but its fat guy in a little boat with a hog of a fish. That's a once and a life time fish, when I tell him all the good responses about the weight of the fish he is even going to talk more smack. I might have to give him the title for northern pike!!:mad0030:

Hopefully this works.
Here is a link to the Yukon fishing regs. There is a rough conversion chart on pg 56. Keep in mind these fish will be slower growing.
Fwiw, I think the fish is a little heavier than this table shows. it is a beauty!
