McGregor Lake + 1 person raft?

I actually started out with something similar to that about 36yrs ago(Tyrell lake, police lake mostly). It is do-able but you really have to stay near shore on a lake that size. If the wind comes up you could get into trouble very quickly. Better bet would be smaller lakes and ponds.

Is there good shore fishing? Won't need to pickup a raft if thats the case

Not bad shore fishing from the dam. Or where hwy 531 crosses the lake.

Save up and buy a Zodiac with a small motor. Don't waste your money on that raft.
