South Leland 2013

Did my first trip with Andrew Lake Lodge this year to South Leland Lake with my buddy and had a great week out enjoying the great north. The lake was full of the most Tasty walleye and lake trout I've ever tried and pike were dime a dozen. The fishing was great and got better by the day . Camp was great with three cabins full of everything anyone would need and nice and clean. Weather was absolutely great with sunny skies every day with no WIND, it's a first time I've been on a trip for a week and the lake stayed perfectly calm the whole time! Couldn't have asked for a better trip. I'd liked to say thanks to Dan with the lodge for being a great host and putting on a top notch trip! Here's some pics

of course we left camp without food so we had to eat and we still had lots of the lake to see so we weren't going all the way back to camp for supper so we ate like cave men lol.

Dan took us on a scenic route back to his float base in fort smith and we flew over the pelican rapids on the slave river it was awesome!

Awesome thread. Looks like a great time. The cliffs remind me of Ryan Lake where we are headed next month and cannot wait. I hope the great weather that they've been having is still around when we get there. GN :)

Thanks, I been to Ryan lake in 2011 and its was a fun lake loaded with walleye.Should be a great time .

I was over at Andrew lake running the lodge for a few large groups and you think south Leland has fish? Andrew lake has flipping enormous lakers. Can't wait to go back. Dan is good s#¥+ for sure it was a pleasure working for him this spring, can't wait for the fall!
