Great shots Rob! What equipment are you using? Are you using any software to enhance these photos?

I use Canon equipment, 40D DSLR and these were taken with a Canon 300mm F4L IS lens. I used PSE6 to do some enhancement on them, but not much.

Thanks for comments guys!

Well done, Rob. Thanks for posting 'em. It's great to see the Ospreys making a comeback. I had one fly over our Calgary backyard the other day with a really big fish in it's talons. Are you the one who set up the pallet for them to nest on? Back home (NS) they always nested on the hydro poles before the DDT nearly wiped 'em out.

The Osprey shot is prit'near professional. Good candidate for a submission in a photo contest.

All the pics are from Waterton, the Osprey isn't the one from just outside the gates, but very close.

Thanks again everyone for the compliments!

Great shots mate. I'm trying to justify buying that lens myself. The results are nearly always pro quality. All of those are pics to be proud of. Well done.

If you do decide to buy it....and you won't regret it, take a look down south of the border and save yourself a fair bit of money. I have bought all mine through B&H Photo.

I use all Canon equipment now...the camera is a Canon 40D and the lens used for the wildlife pics was a Canon 300mm F4L IS lens and the scenery one was a Canon 17-40 F4L lens.

Once you are into the photography thing, its worse than guns I tell you....I sold off most of my rifles to buy lenses and stuff. :ashamed: ;)
