fishing from shore edmonton area

Hello, I am going to be in Edmonton area for most of the summer and am looking for good lakes, ponds, etc that are good fishing from shore or just a few feet in with hip waders. I usually do river fishing down south around Calgary but fairly new to fishing up here, especially without a boat. Any help would be appreciated.

East Pit is fun with waders . It is stocked with trout.

The NSR is always a good time. Start with a pick rig and some bait of your choice. Youll be surpised by the many different species of fish you can land with that simple setup.

chickakoo can be fun go to wab if ya want pike sauer lake as well wasnt bad and sardine lake by drayton valley is good but the fish are hard to catch and small
