Its on the NW side of the lake behind the Tim Horton's.
$40 to drop something in, free for residents, and I think they pack it in a 8pm and leave the gate up. So free after 8 I guess..

Just hit up Mike Green on East Chestermere Dr, he has his own launch...never know until you ask! In truth my buddies grandmother lives 3 houses down from him and has let us drop the boat in but it stays there all season. $40 yikes!!

2.5 million dollars for a boat launch ?........... fire the counselors who approved that.

I paid to add two 24' wide and roughly 40' long concrete ramps (similar to a double lane boat launch), complete with piles, bollards, rails, lighting, two 16 x 16 overhead doors, etc.... for tractor trailers driving into a building for well under $100,000............

How in the #$%^ does a boat launch cost 2.5 million?

I need to see the pics of this thing .........

Who's at the wheel of running this town's finances and how do I apply for that job?

sylvan lake charges the same about $40 for a launch, for $40 I think I can drive a little farther and get a lot better fishing.

has nothing to do with the fishing it has to do with that alberta tax dollars went into fixing that lanch up. the town of Chestmere is recoving there investment but what about the rest of the province.
looks like it is a job for the MLA's in Clagary to deal with...
