Q for you experienced guys,on another post I asked about broadhead selection an a fellow member linked me to a YouTube vid on broadhead tuning.the guy on the vid moved his rest to adjust.so feild points bang on then broadhead shot was off.so he moved his rest a few times an then his broadhead shot like his feild points.so how will his feild points not be off now that he moved his rest!??am I missing somethig here??

Sometimes it will affect the field points....but when you get your broadheads and field points grouping together, but off from where you are aiming...then you adjust your sights. Below is a link, where a fellow shows you his step by step process he went to tune his bow to broadheads....his final step was adjusting the sight.

You are not moving them together, you are eliminating the planing caused by the blades of your broadhead. That planing is caused by your rest being off by as little as 1/32 " (up/down or sideways) and the blades of the broadhead are catching wind as they come off the rest as opposed to coming off perfectly straight. A field point won't have front planning so that is why most people broadhead tune to find there perfect nock height and center shot. Even if you shoot mechs you should broadhead for this reason
