I'm just wondering generally how long it takes to get drawn in southern alberta for archery antelope, this is only my second year applying, so i"m expecting to wait a few more years.

A guy i work with just showed me a site www.mywildalberta.com , it shows all the draw results from the past year, what percent and what priorities were drawn in each zones. Deffinately gonna be waiting a few more years

unless populations improve significantly meaning tag increases, a P2 could easily be waiting 30 years to draw by todays numbers. hopefully a few things change soon.

:D To a more precise page... http://mywildalberta.com/Hunting/HuntingDraws/HuntingDrawsReports/DrawsSummaryReport/documents/HuntingArchives/2012/AntelopeArcheryDrawCode-10-2012.pdf

Pending on the year and quota and also number of applicants which is growing every year ...some zones as much as 400% more applicants as time goes on, some zones a pri 4 was 100% last year but there were only 7 applicants that were pri 4 this year there will be 37 applicants for pri 4

There above link will show you last years quota and # of applicants for each zone..

Yup, a P5 will still get you in the less popular zones I think, I hope, haha.
