Bow River

anyone fish the Bow river downstream of the caresland weir.
I just bought a G3 jon boat with a yamaha 40/30 outboard jet. I pick it up next saturday and wanted to try my luck on sunday on the river any info would be great.

Just make sure you don't fish south of the wier towards the hwy 24 bridge. Last time I checked it was closed till june.

Yes you are right Iam not sure why its only like a kilometer of river too. downstream of the bridge is open all year. But thanks for the heads up.
