Bass lakes on the way to Vancouver islands

I'm heading to the islands for some fishing on august 1st, but me and my fiancé want to give some bass fishing a try. I'm searching on Google and I notices skaha lake is kind of between us, and somewhat on the way, Are there any other lakes I could consider?

Vaseux is a maybe and osoyoos is just so far south

Vaseux is a great bass lake near Skaha, no motors tho. The island has some of the best bass lakes in Canada. St. Mary's on Salt spring island and Shawnigan on Van Isle would be top of my list. Good luck
