Jm 6'8" signature edition. Shimano sahara (best bang for the buck) 12# mono berkley 18" leader. Lures are my secret :) medium power and fast tip

This combo has great backbone and the stretch of the mono gives great success on the barbless lures. Love the full cork handle

Gotta keep the mono fresh and easy on the drag.

Cons
Cant chuck big heavy lures as it over powers the rod.
Cant buy more they make a signature edition ii with cheaper guides

6'10" Shimano Clarus med heavy 3/4oz worm jig rod, paired with a Quantum Kinetic reel, been using 10lb Berkley Fireline crystal this year.

My go to set up right now that I use for Pike is a 7' MH Fenwick HMX paired with a Shimano Saros 3000FA, no pics right now, I'm at work lol

I love this set up, I get better casting distance with this then I do with my bait casters and I have landed my PB pike @ 20 lbs on this set up so I know it gets the job done! I have my reel spooled with 10 lbs Berkly fire line crystal and will turn around and use this set up for pulling heavy bottom bouncers for Walleye.

Depends on the size of lures I'm chucking, and the size of fish I'm expecting :)

My main rod is a 6'10" MH/Xfast Shimano Compre with a Shimano Curado reel.

If I'm chucking some of the stupid large lures I'll use a 6'6" MH Fenwick Canadian Methods musky rod with a Shimano Corvalus.

And if I'm expecting just little guys (or Walleye) I'll use a 7' ML Quantum Energy PT with a Shimano Caenan reel.



I like to have options :)

Oops, 7'2" one piece.
And spooled up with 30# Power Pro Super Slick in Timber Brown. I also make my own leaders w/Yo-Zuri 50# crystal Flourocarbon.

I have a 2 piece Daiwa Carbon Flex CRX(9'2) 110 inch with a Diawa Procaster Magforce PMF 55H bait caster with Trilene 15# use a 60# 12 inch or more leader with my Len Thompsons #4 in Yellow 5 of diamonds(others too) or Big Raps CD 18(nine inch)
