Got out with a few friends on some boats this afternoon and braved the weather. First 15 minutes on the water it was sunny and then we got poured on. We took refuge on shore and got into some fish. Seen a huge sturgeon jump in the middle of the river but all we managed were some walleye, goldeye , and a few suckers. The silver redhorse suckers are pretty cool looking I must say. We got a break in the weather and headed in before the next wave of storms.

X2, that looks like a sweet rig. I bet if you run er WOT you would get going faster than you would ever want too...

Looks like a great day! Thanks for sharing.

Haha he sure is. I was hoping he would get hooked on a big Dino and I could watch him get towed around the river!

Just curious how fast the old river is flowing right now?? Safe for a float/paddle??

Almost down to normal level right now, I would say safe for a paddle. Enjoy it!
